Contrary to his remarks last yr, U.S. Chamber of Commerce CEO Tom Donohue says failure to pass immigration reform won’t doom Republicans in 2016 presidential race.
“I still think they’d be stronger if they hadn’t [blocked immigration reform], but I suppose they probably ought to run a candidate anyway”
NOTE: In May 2014, Donohue said of immigration reform, “If the Republicans don’t do it, they shouldn’t bother to run a candidate in 2016... Think about that. Think about who the voters are”
