Today, General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo announced the appointment of Linda M. Leslie to serve as the Regional Director for the Agency’s Region 3 office. With the Regional Office in Buffalo, New York, and a Resident Office in Albany, New York, Region 3 is responsible for conducting elections, investigating unfair labor practice charges, and protecting the right of workers to act collectively to improve their wages and working conditions in New York and Vermont.
“Linda is an exemplary public servant and I’m certain she will lead Region 3 in an outstanding manner,” said General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo. “With her commitment to the mission of the Agency, she will undoubtedly work every day to fully effectuate the National Labor Relations Act.”
A native of Buffalo, New York, Ms. Leslie graduated in 1995 from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. In 1999, she received a Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo, School of Law.
Ms. Leslie began her career with the Agency as a Field Attorney in Region 3-Buffalo. She was promoted to Regional Attorney in 2016 and served as Acting Director of Region 3 from July 2021 through October 2021.
