Bill O'Reilly and Undocumented Journalist Jose Antonio Vargas Agree on Immigration

Huffington Post Latino VoicesOn Tuesday's episode of the "The O'Reilly Factor," Fox News host Bill O'Reilly makes a surprising announcement: The conservative talk show host thinks there should be a pathway towards citizenship for individuals like Jose Antonio Vargas, an undocumented Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who came to the United States at a young age.

Last week, President Obama announced that he would halt the deportations and grant work permits for some young undocumented immigrants, although the measure will not help Vargas himself who is four months too old for the program.

Vargas authored a cover story this week for TIME Magazine about the struggle of undocumented immigrants in the United States. The conservative talk show host commented on Vargas's story, and said that while he thinks the President's new directive is "illegal," he also thinks people like Vargas should have a pathway towards citizenship.

Vargas tweeted on Tuesday afternoon, "Bill O'Reilly and I agree on the DREAM Act."

"I agree with you. I think there should be a pathway for you," O'Reilly says. "However, however. If you're 32, Jose, and you sneak across the border. No. I'm telling you, 'No,'" he added.
