As details emerge about Omar Mateen, the slain suspect in the worst mass shooting in US history, so do those of his friends and associates. In an unexpected twist, the Imam from the Islamic Center of Fort Pierce, where Mateen spent time as recently as two days ago, now tells a local reporter that he is “pro-Trump,” and sees “a lot of positive effects” from a potential Donald Trump presidency.
