Republican Nightmares Come True As Hillary Clinton Destroys Trump At CNN Town Hall

Hillary Clinton made the Republican Party’s worst nightmares come to life as she coolly destroyed Donald Trump on several occasions during the CNN Democratic town hall from Ohio.

Former Sec. of State Clinton was asked about Trump and violence, and she said, “I think all Americans should be concerned. It’s clear that Donald Trump is running a very cynical campaign pitting groups of Americans against one another. He is trafficking in hate and fear. He is playing to our worst instincts rather than our angels of our better nature. He actually incites violence in the way that he urges his audience on talking about punching people, offering to pay legal bills. And then on the specifics, we know that he has been incredibly bigoted towards so many groups. He talks about deporting 11-12 million immigrants. We’re a nation built on immigrants. He talks about preventing Muslims from coming into our country. We believe in religious freedom. There’s just so much of what’s he doing that I think we all have to reject because it so at odds with our values. You don’t make America great by tearing down everything that made America great, and so lets’s stand up and with one voice, reject that.”

Clinton was asked if there were Democrats who need to be cautioned about violence. She answered, “Well, let’s start with what I think is the truth. Donald Trump is responsible for what happens at his events. He is the person who has for months now. Not just inciting violence, but applauding violence.”

Later Clinton was asked by a voter about her strategy to defeat Donald Trump. She made one point that stuck out more than the others, “One argument that uniquely qualified to bring because of my service as Secretary of State is what his presidency would mean both to our country and to our standing in the world. I am already receiving messages from leaders. I’m having foreign leaders ask if they can endorse me to stop Donald Trump. I say no this up to Americans, thank you very much, but I get what you are saying.”

Clinton pointed to the Italian Prime Minister that has endorsed her publicly, but she would not drop any of the names of the leaders who have privately contacted her.

Former Sec. of State Clinton’s performance was everything that the Republican Party fears could happen in November. Clinton’s answers showed exactly why Trump is horrible choice to take her on in the general election. The Republicans have been trying for years to negate Hillary Clinton’s advantage in foreign policy, but if Trump is the nominee that will go out the window.

The Clinton campaign could portray Trump as a candidate who will put the United States in danger. There are so many angles to how Clinton take Trump apart. The empty bluster and bullying won’t work against Clinton. The Republican Party knows this, but they are unable to stop the Republican frontrunner.

This CNN Democratic town hall from Ohio could not have gone worse for the Republican Party. If Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee everything that Republicans have worried about for years when they thought about the 2016 election will come true if Clinton faces Trump in the general election.
